Another work coming along for the upcoming exhibition in 2022 in Mosman Art Gallery 23rd April – 26th June. I am delighted to be the “Local Artist in Profile” for this period and have been responding to sites that reveal local history by title and/or date that may be painted, inscribed, carved or neon lit (Orpheum )

These cultural artefacts have so much beauty and craftsmanship as well as providing comforting familiarity and eliciting nostalgia.

As usual, the shadows in the compositions play a major role in highlighting structural features and also referencing the passing of time.
